Train With The Pros
Bear Cricket Tours Ltd presents an extremely rare opportunity to spend the week training with the pros. You will spend the week at the Desert Springs High Performance Centre in Spain which boasts training facilities that are of the same calibre as First Class Counties.
The week will include a programme tailored to your individual needs, which will be finalised before you leave England. The coaching team includes Craig White (Former England international and Hampshire Head Coach) Tom Craddock (Former professional cricketer for Yorkshire CCC & Essex CCC and ECB Level 3 Coach), Ghulam Rafiq (ECB Level 3 coach and Strength & Conditioning Level 4) and finally current professional cricketers from Yorkshire County Cricket Club.
The weeks training will include education around cricket specific strength and condition training in Desert Springs along with a programme designed to suit your body. Specialist one to one and small group sessions with both the coaching staff and the pro¹s, expert fielding sessions, middle practice and an introduction to yoga, how it can enhance your performance on a daily basis with our highly trained yoga therapist Kelsie Silva-Neto.
Whats on offer for the parents? Desert Springs hosts a full range of things to do whilst you¹re child is developing their game, there is a PGA Championship standard golf course on site. A high class spa with a full host of treatments available, steam room, sauna and gym. Our Yoga therapist is also willing to put on classes for the parents as a part of your package. Please note there are additional costs for the golf and spa treatments but there will be discounts available.
The packages include all of the following; accommodation, transfers to and from the airport in Spain, Bear Cricket training kit, lunch provided for the children all week, a cricket specific strength programme to use in the future.

It's a great opportunity to go overseas and practice the game in different conditions which is priceless when wanting to compete at the very top. The chance to train like professionals gives you a real taste for day in day out training at first class level. From a skill and mental point of view the players get insight in to the minds of cricketers who have been there and competed at the highest standard which is a great opportunity for youngsters to soak up the knowledge to again get closer to that peak of the game.
